So how do you know when your ready?

During this blog I want to try and explain to you what goes into making the decision to having a child.

When you have finished reading I want you to think about whether you are ready to have a child?

Please if you already have children please share your experiences at the bottom of the page..

I believe you never know wen your ready, from my personal experience I always wanted to have children at a young age and I have, I'm 21 and I have a beautiful son, (featured in my picture), and I didn't suddenly wake up one morning and say to my partner hey lets have a child, however we did talk about it but we would both come up with so many negatives to go against having a child. im going to look at the main three;

firstly career, at 21 we were both just starting out in the world of work, my partner however is currently in her chosen career, but for me I still have no idea what career I want to peruse, you might be different and have different circumstances. However I can guarantee when you talk to your partner about having children I'm sure the topic of career or job will have an impact.

So how do you know at what point in you career do you want to have a child?

Secondly money. Now my partner and I argue about money everyday, how we gonna afford this, ergh can we afford rent this month, we always talked about money, can we afford to have a child?
Truth is yes you can.whatever you circumstances, the bond you have with your child means you will go to any length to ensure that child gets everything they need , I know I've certainly missed a meal or two so we can buy formula. But these are the things you do I cannot begin to describe what my son means to me, but I know I would go to the ends of the earth to make sure he has what he needs.

So do you think your financialy stable to have a child.

Finally Have you got the space. For myself and my partner we though our two bedroom house would be perfect to accomodate a child. Wow we were very wrong, whether it's a giant ballpit to a steriliser for the bottles, my sons belongings take major priority within the house, my living room looks like an outlet for toys r us, and we are already considering moving to a bigger house, however moving to some where bigger would cost more money,

So look at your house do you have the space for a child?

I hope you have a better understanding when deciding to have a child, please feel free to add your comments and add anything I may have missed thank you for reading
