Finally Awake After A Two Hour Nap

A Whole New World

How much can i throw down the stairs before getting caught
and put on the silly step.
At 15 months old the world is an enormous place within a babies eyes, even more so than how the world looks in the eyes of an adult. That 20 stairs you take everyday going to bed each night, to your child is like running the London marathon, and i can see in my boys eyes that every time he makes that quick dash to the bottom of the stairs at any opportunity, he's thinking 'You are my Everest i will conquer you'. For me i find it inspiring that no matter how many times i move him away he has the will and determination to keep trying. To my dis-spare  he's has now mastered the art of stair climbing and its become a nightmare. my day consists of chasing Zachary-Jai endlessly up the stairs to retrieve him, and i know hes only making the climb to participate in his new favorite game of 'How much can i throw down the stairs before i end up on the silly step' and myself and my wife take great amusement from it but as you can see from  the picture, where do you draw the line?

Rain Forest Jumperoo Review

Hey guys just a response for an email I
received, asking me to recommend a good jumperoo. We bought the fisher price rainforest jumperoo from amazon, price was £100 and as for value for money it was the best £100 pound I've ever spent. So the design is a tri-rod system and is extremely easy to assemble, the jumperoo has three heights so it can be adjusted to suit the size of your baby. On the top are many lights and gizmos for baby to play with, this jumperoo gave my son hours of entertainment. I would definitely recommend this jumperoo to anybody who wants great product for great value. Rating 9/10.

TOP ITEMS NEW PARENTS EXPECT TO RECEIVE AS GIFTS

Hey guys as I mentioned before in my previous post money can play a very important part when planning to have a baby. Research says that new parents need at least £5,500 in the
bank when planning for a baby to cover the costs of a pram, cot and the thousands of nappies to name a few, but do we really wait and save up the money. The truth is NO. 99% of people who want to have children dont have that kind of money in the bank before they have children.

So where does all the essential baby stuff come from?
Reasearch shows that new parents to be in 2013 dont expect to go it alone financially and even expect friends and family to help support them, turning the new born into a full family affair.

 So why has this happened?
Well due the the uncertain economy and possibly a generous upbringing, many new parents  go through with the birth and expect friends and family to make up for the shortfall.

Below is result of a survey in which 1000 people were asked what they would expect friends and family to buy for the new arrival;

1. Toys
2. Pram / buggy
3. Car seat
4. Cot
5. Baby toiletries
6. Designer clothes
7. Nappies
8. High chair
9. Child’s nursery furniture
10. Contribution to savings account
11. Milk

So how do you know when your ready?

During this blog I want to try and explain to you what goes into making the decision to having a child.

When you have finished reading I want you to think about whether you are ready to have a child?

Please if you already have children please share your experiences at the bottom of the page..

I believe you never know wen your ready, from my personal experience I always wanted to have children at a young age and I have, I'm 21 and I have a beautiful son, (featured in my picture), and I didn't suddenly wake up one morning and say to my partner hey lets have a child, however we did talk about it but we would both come up with so many negatives to go against having a child. im going to look at the main three;

firstly career, at 21 we were both just starting out in the world of work, my partner however is currently in her chosen career, but for me I still have no idea what career I want to peruse, you might be different and have different circumstances. However I can guarantee when you talk to your partner about having children I'm sure the topic of career or job will have an impact.

So how do you know at what point in you career do you want to have a child?

Secondly money. Now my partner and I argue about money everyday, how we gonna afford this, ergh can we afford rent this month, we always talked about money, can we afford to have a child?
Truth is yes you can.whatever you circumstances, the bond you have with your child means you will go to any length to ensure that child gets everything they need , I know I've certainly missed a meal or two so we can buy formula. But these are the things you do I cannot begin to describe what my son means to me, but I know I would go to the ends of the earth to make sure he has what he needs.

So do you think your financialy stable to have a child.

Finally Have you got the space. For myself and my partner we though our two bedroom house would be perfect to accomodate a child. Wow we were very wrong, whether it's a giant ballpit to a steriliser for the bottles, my sons belongings take major priority within the house, my living room looks like an outlet for toys r us, and we are already considering moving to a bigger house, however moving to some where bigger would cost more money,

So look at your house do you have the space for a child?

I hope you have a better understanding when deciding to have a child, please feel free to add your comments and add anything I may have missed thank you for reading
